How to Set Up the DuckDuckGo VPN on iOS

Once the DuckDuckGo subscription is activated on your iOS device, the VPN is ready to be set up. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. In the DuckDuckGo browser, tap the 3-line menu > Settings > VPN.
  2. Tap the toggle next to VPN to connect the VPN.
  3. You will be prompted to grant permission for DuckDuckGo to add VPN configurations. Be sure to tap the Allow button.
  4. If prompted, authorize the system change by entering your device’s authentication step (e.g. passcode or biometric data, such as Face ID or Touch ID).
