Why am I not receiving the one-time passphrase (OTP)?

The one-time passphrase (OTP) will only be sent to the email address linked to the account that initially purchased the subscription. This can depend on the device used to purchase the subscription:

  • Android: use the email address linked to your Google account signed into the Play Store on your Android device.
  • iOS: use the email address linked to your Apple Account signed into the App Store on your iOS device.
  • Windows: use the email address used when you purchased directly through the DuckDuckGo website, or the email address linked to your Microsoft Store account on your Windows computer.
  • macOS: use the email address used when you purchased directly through the DuckDuckGo website, or the email address linked to your Apple Account signed into the App Store on your Mac computer.

Also, please be sure to check your spam folder, as system-generated emails sometimes get flagged by mail servers.
